An Elizabethan Christmas 2023

This predominantly outdoor installation explored Christmas through the lens of Hatfield’s most famous resident, Queen Elizabeth I. The experience, designed to be enjoyed throughout the day and into the winter dusk with a dramatic lighting design, focused on a narrative-driven series of tableaux, overseen by a bespoke twice life-size sculpture of Queen Elizabeth as host to the revels.
