The Regency Christmas 2021

Rarely seen Christmas traditions from the Regency period were brought to life in this exquisite high-Regency designed interior. Ranging from the first recorded Christmas tree in England (a Yew in the court of Queen Charlotte) to the State Dining Room installation inspired by the Prince Regent’s fantastical Brighton Pavillion, the installation also included a series of Regency-styled Christmas tree dresses and decorations inspired by the castle’s original chinoiserie wallpapers.
