Castle Howard Narnia 2021

The first Christmas after COVID had resonance for the Castle Howard community and explored the C.S Lewis classic, The Lion the Witch & the Wardrobe. Highlights of the installation included the snow-covered 28ft real fir tree (the largest indoor tree in a private house in the UK), Aslan the Lion - a giant re-purposed theatre puppet alongside stunning projection mapping and a full soundscape.

Channel 4 filmed the installation build which was watched by over 2 million viewers.

Castle Howard welcomed 75,000 visitors to the installation.
